If you have any quality items in a good condition, help save lives and donate them to British Heart Foundation instead.<\/p>\n<p>Once donated, your items can be sold in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bhf.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BHF<\/a> shops to help raise money to fund research to beat heart and circulatory diseases, the world\u2019s biggest killers.<\/p>\n<h4>What can you donate?<\/h4>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9725 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/host-students.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/bhf-donation-box-300x289.jpg\" alt=\"bhf-donation-box\" width=\"281\" height=\"271\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Charities spend millions every year throwing away donations they can\u2019t sell in their shops. That\u2019s money they can\u2019t use to help people in need. Therefore, any items you\u2019re donating should be of a good condition. No one will want to buy something that\u2019s broken, dirty or incomplete.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You can donate:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clothing<\/li>\n<li>Shoes<\/li>\n<li>Bags<\/li>\n<li>Accessories<\/li>\n<li>Books<\/li>\n<li>Computer games<\/li>\n<li>CDs\/DVDs<\/li>\n<li>Electrical items<\/li>\n<li>Crockery<\/li>\n<li>Cookware<\/li>\n<li>Homeware<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The following items cannot be donated:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Food<\/li>\n<li>Knives<\/li>\n<li>Hangers<\/li>\n<li>Duvets<\/li>\n<li>Pillows<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>How can you donate?<\/h4>\n<p>In our <a href=\"https:\/\/host-students.com\/\">Host<\/a> accommodations we have set up BHF donation points \u2013 most can be found in the main lobby or common room, but if you\u2019re unsure, check with the team at your accommodation and they can point you in the right direction.
